Using Double-Sided Command™ Strips (optional)
Using double-sided Command™ strips on the back of the magnet board helps provide additional
support and contact points against the wall, which can reduce or eliminate waviness in the metal
once installed.
Materials Needed
Double-sided Command™ strips (recommended weight rating appropriate for board size)
Clean cloth
Rubbing alcohol (if needed)
Level
Surface Preparation
Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
Wipe the wall and the back of the magnet board with a clean cloth.
Use rubbing alcohol to remove dust or oils for best adhesion. Allow surfaces to dry completely.
Applying the Command™ Strips
Apply Command™ strips evenly across the back of the magnet board.
Place strips:
Along the perimeter, and across the center area of the board to provide additional support.
Use multiple strips to ensure even pressure and contact with the wall.
Mounting the Board
Carefully position the board on the wall.
Use a level to ensure proper alignment.
Press firmly across the entire surface of the board, especially where strips are placed, to secure it in
position.
Hold pressure for 30–60 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.
